Questions

Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?
No. Merging happens entirely in your browser, so your documents never leave your device and nothing is stored by us.
Can I change the order of the files?
Yes. Use the up and down arrows next to each file to reorder them before merging. Pages are combined in the order shown.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
No. Encrypted or damaged files cannot be read in the browser. Remove the password first, then merge.
Is Merge PDF free?
Yes. Merge PDFs online for free after you sign in.
Is there a file size limit?
Yes. Stay within the per-file MB limit shown on the page so the browser can process everything smoothly.
Do I need Adobe Acrobat?
No. The merger runs in your browser and downloads a standard PDF you can open anywhere.
