How does summarization work?

We first transcribe your audio, then send the transcript to a summarizer (Ollama when enabled) to generate the summary.

Is my file private?

Your file is processed privately. Uploads are removed after processing; downloads expire after the retention window.

Do I need an account?

Yes. Sign in to run the tool. How-to steps and FAQs on this page stay public.

Is the summary a replacement for the transcript?

No. You still get the full transcript (TXT, SRT, VTT) plus a separate summary with key points.

What kinds of audio work best?

Meetings, interviews, and lectures with clear speech summarize well. Music-heavy tracks are a poor fit.
